Dans le dernier numéro du magazine de prépublication Young Magazine de la Kodansha a été annoncé la publication d’un nouveau manga sur Ghost in the Shell, qui sera intitulé Ghost In The Shell The Human Algorithm.
C’est un duo qui est à la manœuvre pour ce nouveau manga : Jun’ichi Fujisaku (qui avait supervisé l’animé Ghost in the Shell : Arise)et Hiroki Yoshimoto. Ce nouvel ouvrage fera suite au manga Ghost in the SHell 1.5 : Human-Error Processor, écrit par Masamune Shirow, et nous racontera de nouvelles enquêtes menées par la Section 9. Cependant, Motoko Kusanagi ne devrait pas faire partie de l’aventure…
Ghost in the Shell : The Human Algorithm sera publié à partir du 20 septembre prochain au Japon, mais aucune date de sortie pour la France n’a malheureusement été donnée… pour l’instant !
